About the Vaporesso XTank T

The XTank T is Vaporesso’s slim 22.4mm top-airflow tank built around the GTX coil platform. It sits flush on the GTX One Pro and any other 22mm-plus 510 mod. Coils run from 0.4 ohm RDL down to 1.2 ohm tight MTL, so one tank covers most refillable vape styles. It sits alongside the wider iTank T sub-ohm tank for cloud-focused vapers, while the XTank T owns the slim MTL and RDL side of the lineup.

Two coils ship in the pack: a 0.6 ohm mesh for warmer RDL or loose MTL, and a 1.2 ohm mesh for a cigarette-style draw. Pair with 10ml nic salts on the higher resistances or 50/50 e-liquids across the full coil range.

Top Airflow with SSS Leak Resistance

Bottom-airflow tanks have always had one weak spot: the airflow holes under the tank are also a route for e-liquid to seep out into a pocket or onto a mod. The XTank T moves the airflow inlets to the top of the tank instead.

Vaporesso pairs the top-airflow path with their SSS (Sealed Silicone System) plug at the fill port. Pop the cap, refill, snap the cap back, and the silicone plug holds the e-liquid in place even if the tank rolls around in a bag. For a slim MTL tank this is the headline upgrade over older 22mm tanks.

22.4mm Slim Profile for Compact Mods

At 22.4mm wide the XTank T sits flush on a 22mm or wider 510 mod top plate. There is no overhang on the GTX One Pro, the Armour S, the Armour Ultra Mod or the older Gen-series mods.

The slim profile keeps the whole setup pocket-friendly. Paired with the GTX One Pro the combined height stays under 100mm, so you get a regulated 40W mod-and-tank that still slides into a jacket pocket without bulk.

Tight MTL Through to Loose RDL Draw

The adjustable airflow ring lets the same tank cover three vape styles depending on which coil sits inside.

Close the ring fully with the 1.2 ohm coil for a tight cigarette-style MTL pull, ideal with 20mg nic salts. Open the ring halfway with the 0.6 ohm coil for a warmer RDL draw on a 50/50 freebase. Open the ring fully with the 0.4 ohm coil for a restricted-DTL pull on a shortfill.

Coil Compatibility

The XTank T runs the full GTX coil platform shared with the GTX One Pro, Armour S and Armour Ultra Mod. The same coils carry between every GTX kit you own.

The 0.6 ohm and 1.2 ohm mesh coils come in the box. Replacement and step-up coils are stocked in the Vaporesso GTX coil 5-pack.

Choosing the Right Coil Resistance

Pick the resistance that matches your draw style and e-liquid type:

New to MTL: start with the 1.2 ohm coil and 20mg nic salt, ring closed. Stepping up from a pod kit: try the 0.8 ohm coil with a 10mg nic salt and the ring half open.

Compatible Vape Mods

The XTank T uses a 510 thread and sits 22.4mm wide, so it fits flush on any mod with a 22mm or wider top plate.

The natural pairing is the Vaporesso GTX One Pro: the kit was designed around this tank, fires 5-40W and comes with extra GTX coils that swap straight across. For a 18650-powered option the Armour Ultra Mod or the Armour S both take the XTank T comfortably and add user-replaceable battery life.

When the glass needs replacing down the line, the XTank T glass tube is stocked separately. If your style is sub-ohm DTL with bigger clouds rather than tight MTL, the wider iTank T sub-ohm tank runs the GTi coil platform instead — coils do not cross between the two platforms.

How to Fill and Install the XTank T

1. Unscrew the airflow ring and lift the top cap to expose the silicone fill port.
2. Drip e-liquid down the side of the wick channel, avoiding the central airflow tube.
3. Push the top cap back down until it clicks and reseats the silicone plug.
4. Stand the tank upright for five minutes so the wicks fully saturate.
5. Screw the XTank T onto your mod, set the wattage inside the coil’s range and prime with two short button-only pulls.
6. Take a longer pull on the first inhale, then dial the airflow ring open or closed to taste.

Swap coils by unscrewing the base of the tank, lifting out the old coil and screwing in the replacement. The threads are colour-coded so the coil only goes in one way.
